Lexi in all her glory.
Lexi gave me a big scare on Tuesday by falling off the bed and landing on her back. I panicked, called about 3 different vets as I was scared that she might have hit her head. Well she was fine but ever since then I have been very wary and have made a spot for her on my desk using an old miniature recycling box. She is happy as a clam in there and she is up there whenever Patches gets a little too rough for my liking.

Happy napping puppies.
Lexi's Thanksgiving Weekend.
Friday and Saturday were fairly uneventful for the most part, although Lexi was in her harness and extremely cranky. At some points she forgot about it being on and was just hanging out with Patches, but then she would remember that it WAS on and be mad all over again. She was SO mad at one point that she decided to hang out with Cleo and she really doesn't like Cleo.
On Sunday we went with Joanne and Sonny to visit Terri-Mommy; Lexi was very happy to be showered in attention (isn't she always?).

Lexi in harness, Day 2.

Observations.
From my posts, Lexi seems to be gaining about 0.2 lb per month since I have had her. This is not bad now, but it has to stop somewhere. Imagine 7 lb on a frame like hers. Eep.

Lexi's trip to the OVC Small Animal Clinic
Being the hypochondriac that I am, I have a tendency to overreact when one of my animals appears unwell and Lexi is no exception. Around 6 p.m. today I noticed that she was blinking excessively in her right eye, and by 7 p.m. she was holding it shut. So off to the Smalls clinic she went. 185 bucks later, I got a tube of BNP and was told it was likely just an eye infection or irritation from dust. Funny how I could have done the same thing at work for 6 bucks or less. At least I bought peace of mind.

Lexi weighs a whopping 2.4 lb!
She's round in the middle, but not quite fat. I'm pleased. If she continues to grow she may hit 3 lb and that is what I want. :) I've been separating her and Patch so that they don't get into each others' food and then usually what happens is one ends up eating more than the other (usually Lexi). I love my Lexi!
